Despite the size weight and cost of this behemoth, it only supports one weapon system, a 3cm railgun wrapped inside a special cowling to try and conceal its purpose by making it appear to be a more conventional weapon.  This tank is huge, and has seen the most service in central Africa, being used by both sides in the massive civil war that is still raging.  Due to the high cost of the railgun, and the high cost of the vehicle itself, very little in the way of other options are included.  This is a poor mans tank with a rich mans weapon mounted on it.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: military radio, damage control, environment control, 12 hours life support, AEMS, laser communicator, laser rangefinder, satellite uplink,  military Radar, Radar Detector, Tele-optics, Thermograph.

The largest and most expensive tank ever built.  5 of these exist, and it is unknown how South Africa managed to afford them, as well as where they got the knowledge to build them.  Rumors are that Orbital Air funded them, with the EEC providing the plans (this corresponds with Orbital Airs spaceport construction plans, and the EEC's desire to control the region.)  These machines are monsters, and while moving across anything other than reinforced concrete they must keep moving or the massive weight will cause them to sink into the earth.  So far no one has been able to to determine what military advantage these machines could give.  They seem to have been built on a whim by a South African dictator, and rumors abound that the European government agreed to it simply to see what it would be capable of.  Very strange proceedings surround this true behemoth.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: its got everything,. including lavatories, a kitchen, a small private room for the commander and 10 bunks.

ARMAMENT: 140mm cannon w/ 16 reloads, 4 75mm cannon w/ 12 reloads apiece, 8 60mm mortar cannons, 8 .50cal MG's, 4  40mm grenade launcher's, 8 SAM missiles.  24 concealed IR smoke projectors, AGAMS, 40 2" rockets (in concealed pods on all four sides of the vehicle, 10 in each pod), and  gas sprayers lining the treads.

Militechs hover tank, although it more of a mobile missile system than a tank.  The cost of this vehicle is astronomical, and while it is excellent at its offensive capabilities, its defensive capabilities fall short.  Though its price tag is high, the US military has a standing contract for these machines, and Militech has used them to beef up its own private arsenal.

Specifically built for urban warfare this light tank uses 8 tires instead of treads.  This allows it to move incredibly fast for a tank while keeping the same maneuverability one would expect from such a vehicle.  This tank is not suitable for off road use.  A special feature allows the wheels to act independently, and each wheel can rotate in its hub a full 90 degrees, allowing it to travel sideways at up to 30mph.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: military radio, GPS, puncture proof tires, damage control, environment control, 12 hours life support, AEMS, laser communicator, laser rangefinder, satellite uplink, multi-targeting capabilities, Image Enhancement, military Radar, Radar Detector, Tele-optics, Thermograph, Independent and pivoting wheel system, cybernetic linkage.

Mitsubishi unveiled this state of the art innovation earlier this year.  This mini-tank does not use wheels or treads, but instead is propelled by 4 electromagnetically spun balls.  The balls let the tank move in any direction at full speed, giving it unparalled maneuverability.  This tank is the test bed for the design, and the military funding provided by the United States allowed them to try and perfect it.  There is rumor that they will be releasing a civilian sports car with the same innovation later this year.  For urban travel, the balls are covered in a thick rubber, but for rougher terrain the ball also have short extending spikes to aid in traction.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: military radio, GPS, damage control, environment control, 12 hours life support, AEMS, laser communicator, laser rangefinder, satellite uplink, multi-targeting capabilities,  military Radar, Radar Detector, Tele-optics, Thermograph,  cybernetic linkage.

The EDF's railgun equipped tank, the entire vehicle was developed to fire the upgraded "GODSTING" 3cm railgun.  The weapons far exceed the range of any similarly equipped tank, meaning it doesn't need to further weigh itself down with defensive weaponry.  It is however very well armored, and the tanks fire control computer has proven so accurate it has even proven able to shoot aircraft out of the sky.  Unfortunately its price has kept it from being widely distributed and deployed.

Designed specifically for urban warfare and pacification, the UST would almost be a decent APC if it held more than 4 passengers.  But then again the amount of weapons this vehicle is bristling with set it firmly in the tank category.  It's a good design, the vehicle is fast, and highly maneuverable, though the driver is a little over-exposed, even behind the bulletproof glass (sp 25).

This weapon is a monster, in every conceivable sense of the word.  It fires the largest gun seen anywhere on the world, save for heavy naval warships.   The weapon usually sits or travels entrenched between a battery of VSAM and AGAMS equipped vehicles, and is used for long range support.  The vehicle is huge, and heavy, and almost a waste of money due to the cost, not only of the vehicle itself, but of getting it to and from the war zone.  Still, being able to shell other countries with pinpoint Satellite assisted accuracy is a definite bonus.  The EDF definitely has the upper hand on any battle field this is deployed to.

A truly Unique design from GMI for a heavy weapons platform.  The idea behind it is, that the weapon can sit behind cover, then bring its "legs" in, raising it up to snipe at its target, then lowering back down again for safety.  The vehicle gets around the issue of needing a tracked chassis to fire it's rail gun through the use of explosive driven pitons, four on each "leg" which drive into the ground, locking the vehicle in place for firing..

Arasaka loves it's wheeled design, and mounting 30mm vulcans to them.  This vehicle is almost more of an APC, but it doesn't hold enough people to support that role, and it's main gun is too severe for that anyway.  The +5 targeting computer of this vehicle has proven to enable the vehicle to shoot down even fast moving aircraft, and the 30mm gatling can act as an AGAMS system in emergency.  Both the US and the EEC has made purchases of this vehicle.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: military radio, GPS, puncture proof tires, damage control, environment control, 12 hours life support, AEMS, laser communicator, laser rangefinder, satellite uplink, multi-targeting capabilities, Image Enhancement, military Radar, Radar Detector, Tele-optics, Thermograph, Independent and pivoting wheel system, cybernetic linkage.

ARMAMENT: 30mm gatling (full sized 9d10 dam) w/2 extra magazines, revolver style 75mm cannon, 6 IR smoke projectors, 2 shot IFAR pod, and a 5.56mm mg.

This exceedingly nimble tank features the same propulsion system used by the XLT-504, only each wheel rests at the end of 4 "legs" which can raise or lower, allowing for more ground clearance on rough terrain, and a lower profile and less resistance for flat out running.  Still in the early stages of testing, this tank provides the next step in American Military testing of the new propulsion system, and was designed for urban combat roles.
