This is an (2020-upgraded) unlicensed copy of the original SCUD / SS-1 Soviet ballistic missile. One of the favourite toys of third-world dictators, Scud can hit a 50m circle from about 550 kilometers. Since it carries a one-ton explosive warhead, or nuclear, biological or chemical warhead (chemical are most likely – they’re cheap, and easy to produce), greater precision isn’t required. The Scud can’t track any targets – it’s inertial guidance system leads it to hit a pre-destined place on Earth, no matter what will be there. Please note that any modern counter-missile system will most probably blast the Scud off the sky before it could reach it’s target.
Each missile costs 20,000eb (plus whatever warhead you want for it), and takes 50 spaces (launcher takes 60 spaces). Here, it’s mounted on a knock-off of the original Russian MAZ-453 vehicle, but it is not unknown to have Scuds installed on seagoing vessels (although this tends to hamper their accuracy).  They are sold exhaustively in asia and africa.

Model: NORINCO Type 114 gun Type: long-ranged, self-propelled howitzer
Caliber: 380 mm Accuracy:  -3
Damage: 30d10 / PEN15 if conventional, HE ammo is used. Blast area:  72m
Ammo supply: reloaded every shot Rate of fire: 1 per 6 minutes
Relability: UR Range: 46 kilometers, indirect fire only.
Deploy time: 1 hour
Price: 1,000,000 eb
There’s only one probable answer to the question – why did the Chinese made this monstrosity? Because they could.
Type 114 rests on a specially-designed, 16-wheeled carriage that requires a hour of work by the 30-man crew to safely deploy all the stabilisers and recoil-absorbing plows. It needs to be overhauled (in a proper workshop) every 20 shots, to check whether the carriage is intact. The barrel has to be replaced every 40 shots. Reloading requires a separate crane (every projectile weights 700 kg!) and ammo carriers.
Still, some people do buy these –they’re impressive, have nice range, and can be used to launch ABC munitions.

Every round for this beast costs 1,000eb and takes up 2 spaces. The gun itself costs 1,000,000 eb, and takes 40 spaces.

Model: Pan-Europe Archer Type: portable AA missile system
Caliber: 200mm Accuracy: Skill 20
Damage: 15d10 (PEN 7)
Blast area: 12m
Ammo supply: 8
Rate of fire: 2
Relability: VR Range: 15 km
Deploy time: 30 seconds Price: 18,000eb
Archer is the most typical of the European, small AA missile systems. A pack of 8 IR-homing missiles rests in a box-like container, along with simple targeting electronics. The whole weapon is either stationary, or mounted on a vehicle – in this case, AMX “Lupin”, French armoured car. Archer uses either vehicle-mounted radar (not included here), a battery radar, or some other form of target acquisition.

Model: Pan-Europe Lancer Type: medium-ranged AA system
Caliber: 350mm Accuracy: Skill 20
Damage: 17d10 (PEN 9)
Blast area: 12 meters
Ammo supply: 2 missiles Rate of fire: 2
Relability: VR Range: 80 km
Deploy time: several hours (stationary system) Price: 267,000eb
Big brother to the Archer system, Lancer uses medium-ranged anti-aircraft missiles with active radar homing (they’re capable of semiactive homing as well). The system includes target acquisition radar, and can be set to operate without human supervision. Since it’s pretty big, Lancer tends to be used as stationary, base defence systems and ship-mounted variants.

Each missile costs 25,000 eb and takes 3 spaces

Model: Skoda “Dora” Type: heavy self-propelled howitzer
Caliber: 305 mm Accuracy: 0
Damage: 20d10 (PEN 10)
Blast area: 72m
Ammo supply: reloaded every shot Rate of fire: 1 per minute
Relability: VR Range: 25 km
Deploy time: 5 minutes Price: 30 million eb
If you really need a big-ass gun, buy from Skoda.  Even if howitzers that big are an obsolete idea, Skoda makes them for the willing customers, using all the technological wonders of 21st century.  The vehicle – a specially-projected tracked carrier from Tatra company – can ride wherever is enough space to fit it, and the gun is completely computer-controlled. Stabilisers do deploy on a command, fixing the behemoth to the ground at best possible angle, and the carriage turns and elevates the barrel into ordered position.  A second, accompanying ammo vehicle, based on the very same desigin, loads Dora using it’s own crane, and the howitzer is then aimed and fired – all that with the crew staying comfortably within vehicles.

Model: Arasaka Tetsubo Type: anti-aircraft missile system
Caliber: 280mm Accuracy: +2 / Skill 15
Damage: 15d10 (PEN 10 HEAT)
Blast area: none
Ammo supply: 10 missiles Rate of fire: 5
Relability: VR Range: 1500m, direct fire
Deploy time: 10 seconds (from concealed silo). Placement of the silo itself
 takes several hours at least.
Price: 95’000eb
The Tetsubo (named after japanes war club, essentially a steel baseball bat almost 2m long) is a concealable stationary missile launcher designed specifically for U.S. armed forces land and naval base defense.   These are especially useful on naval vessels as they retract into the deck, maximizing peacetime deck space while concealing the vessels true armament.

Missiles are either passive radar-riders (1700 eb apiece) or active IR homing (3000 eb apiece) – usually a 50/50 mix is used.

Model: Soltam M-6 Type: long-range gun
Caliber: 203 mm Accuracy: 0
Damage: 27d10 (PEN 14)
Blast area: 10m
Ammo supply: reloaded every shot (uses autoloader) Rate of fire: 1/5
Relability: VR Range: 70 km
Deploy time: stationary weapon Price: 325,000eb
South African creation, and it’s really frightening. This monstrosity has been created along similar lines as Dora – modern technology for an obsolete application. M-6 are used as coastal defence guns – their recoil makes them useless in anything but fixed defence positions, and usually the ports are the only installations that may need such defences. In fact, modern defense systems are usually anti-surface missile batteries, and M-6 has an advantage over these: there’s a number of ways to fool or destroy missile in flight, but no way to stop a cannon round once it’s fired. A logical conclusion, such gun must be stopped from firing – which can be easily acheived in a number of ways.

Model: Tupolev “Akula” Type: anti-ship missile
Caliber: 400mm Accuracy: skill 20
Damage: 40d10 (PEN 20)
Blast area: 12m
Ammo supply: reloaded every shot Rate of fire: 1
Relability: ST Range: 300 kilometers
Deploy time: stationary only Price: 1.9 million eb
The modern player in the anti-ship field, Akula (“Shark” – it’s common to see these missiles with shark teeth paintjobs) is a work of art. Guided by active radar and optical (in the final phase) homing systems, the missile will take erratic evasive maneuvers (planned by her fuzzy-logic computer) to protect the missile against enemy Phalanx missile defense systems. And it can ruin the day of any ship, including the biggest supercarriers.  This is Russias most devastating weapon, and it sells them to the EDF, which makes the United States very nervous.

Model: MILITECH "DARK HUNTER" Type: long-ranged AA system
Caliber: 350mm Accuracy: Skill 20
Damage: 17d10 (PEN 9)
Blast area: 12 meters
Ammo supply: 4 missiles Rate of fire: 2
Relability: VR Range: 120 km
Deploy time: several hours (stationary system) Price: 867,000eb
For land and naval defense, the Dark Hunter missile system is the American answer to the EDF's Lancer.  The missiles have a longer range, but are drastically higher in price for the same end result.

Each missile costs 30,000 eb and takes 3 spaces

Model: Militech  “Geneva” Type: anti-ship missile
Caliber: 420mm Accuracy: skill 18
Damage: 43d10 (PEN 22)
Blast area: 12m
Ammo supply: reloaded every shot Rate of fire: 1
Relability: ST Range: 300 kilometers
Deploy time: stationary only Price: 3.4 million eb
Proving that they can spend money better than anyone else, the US has its own anti-ship weapon.  It performs similiarly to its Russian counterpart, though the blast is more contained and it's not quite as intelligent for only a slightly bigger ban and nearly 3 times the cost.

Model: ARASAKA "HYPERFIRE" Type: Railgun
Caliber: 6cm (60mm gauss) Accuracy: +3
Damage: 42d10 (PEN 40)
Blast area: 72m
Ammo supply: 5 Rate of fire: 1 per minute
Relability: VR Range: 2500 km
Deploy time: Immediate (must be hard mounted and reinforced)
Price: ????
Somewhere, on an island in the pacific off the coast of Japan, Arasaka has a top secret research facility, fully sponsored by the United States government.    On this island is being manufactured the most powerful gun ever built, a railgun chambered in 60mm gauss.  Supposedly the US military has plans of putting this nightmare on an aircraft carrier, thats the only vessel big enough to mount and fire this weapon.  Initial tests project that the weapon has a range of almost 1600 miles.  In other words, you could shell Fort Worth Texas from Manhattan New York.  The weapon project is making the rest of the world very nervous, especially due to the rumor circulating that one of the stipulations for building the weapon was that Japan would recieve the first completed weapon, making China and Korea extremely nervous.  Not only that, but with a carrier mounted weapon of this size, all you would need would be to park somewhere in international waters off of europe and you could pretty much attack any country, without setting off early warning systems.  Load the weapon with Mass Destruction able ammunition, and you have an exceedingly scary scenario.  It is also conceivable that the weapon could be used to knock out orbital satellites and stations.  Many people are begining to fear another Colorado Springs incident, especially in light of the current conflict in Africa.  In theory when complete, the weapon will use satelite targeting, for pinpoint accuracy.  The weapon has yet to be fired, in fact no hard evidence exists that the weapon even exists except this grainy image and rumors.

Because if someone else has one, the United States is obsessively compulsed to develop their own.  The Meandog  is one of the most dangerous toys the US military has to play with.  It is equipped with a huge turret mounted 2 million dollar GE-1240 30mm gatling cannon (12 spaces, another 10 for the ammo pod), 2 5-shot Hellfire  missile pods, a .50 cal machinegun , 4 IR smoke projectors, 2 flare launchers, and is fast and agile enough to maneuver it's way out of most dangerous situations safely.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: military radio, GPS, laser rangefinder, visual rangefinder, satellite uplink, navigation system.
